    yes, students with diploma as last qualification in engineering can tak admission in btech lateral entry in lpu.

    under lateral entry student joins directly to the second year of btech program thereby its duration becomes 3 years i.e. 6 semesters  .

    minimum 60%/ marks are required to be eligible for admission along with this  lpunest exam has to be qualified.

    lpunest marks  as an entry path as well as scholarship pathway  and it is conducted online .

    There is a minimum requirement of 60 percentage marks in the class 12th and a good GPA in the first year and no character default. One should also have a genuine reason for leaving the older institution.

    LPU floats more than 250 programmes including diploma, lateral entry and degree courses.
    B.Tech. Civil lateral entry is 3 years of duration with eligibility as: 60% in Diploma (Engg. - any stream) i.e. 3yrs. after 10th or 2 yrs after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc (Non- medical)/ B.Sc(Computer Science) or equivalent.*
    One of my friend's brother took admission in LPU and appreciated the efforts of the staff of University .
