Can one become a district agriculture officer or some other govt. officer after doing B.Sc in food technology?

B.Sc in Food Technology branch is very distinct from agriculture in many ways. Agriculture officer eligibility usually requires Agriculture, Forestry or Agroforestry, etc. Food technology graduates are eligible for Food Safety Department, Quality Department, FCI, etc.
