Can one go for PhD after being eligible for assistant professor but could not get the post due to age factor?
I am 30 years old MBA candidate but haven't qualified PhD. What next if I qualify UGC NET?

Yes, for Ph.D, you need to qualify the entrance test of the university you aim for. Ph.D admission is easy as you might get preference and shall also be exempted from. The entrance test is a bit competitive.
