Can One join for Bsc Nautical Science in IMU CHENNAI at age 25(as per IMUCET eligibility). His/her age after course completion will be 28 years, then is there any issue in placement? Do company follows strict rules something? Or everyone can get placement, no issue of age once admitted to IMU campus

For the academic session 2024-2025, the Indian Maritime University has set the following age criteria for B.Sc. Nautical Science:

Minimum Age: 17 years.

Maximum Age for Male Candidates: * General: 25 years

OBC (NCL): 28 years

SC/ST: 30 years

General: 27 years
