    Yes, surely you can and yes, it is worthy. You can pursue BCA from IGNOU or any other renowned distance college.

    BCA is a job oriented degree course and you can go for a job immediately after BCA in small and medium-sized IT companies. Unfortunately, Indian IT industry does not prefer BCA for entry level Developer and Testers roles. BCA graduates may get a junior developer or application support jobs. Indian IT industry prefers regular BCA candidates over candidates with BCA by distance learning. However, once candidates get 3 to 4 years experience, type of degree does not matter much.
