Yes, other state candidates can apply for the MHT CET exam. It is open to all Indian nationals, including those from other states. However, reservation benefits like fee waivers or seat allotments are typically applicable only for candidates belonging to the Maharashtra State Candidature. While appearing for MHT CET allows other state candidates to compete, IIT JEE scores are generally preferred by some colleges in Maharashtra for admissions to BE/BTech programs.
