Can PSEB passed students apply for Australia? I have done 12th from PSEB board and 10th from ICSE board.

    Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. Australia is refusing study visas to Indian students who have passed their Class XII from schools affiliated to the Punjab School Education Board. The education and examinations conducted through the PSEB are not listed as equivalent to an Australian Grade 12 qualification under the Australian Education International National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition Guidelines. Every year, over 2.5 Lacs students appear for PSEB 10th exams, of which the pass percentage is usually around 95. 

In 2025, the total number of students who appeared for their Punjab board 10th exams 2025 is 277746, out of which 265548 students cleared the exams bringing the overall pass percentage to 95.61%. Girls performed better, with a pass percentage of 96.85%, while boys had a pass percentage of 94.50%.

You will need the details mentioned on your PSEB 10th admit card to check your result. Its okay if you have the photocopies of your hall ticket and lost the original one. 

However, it is always advised to keep the documents like Punjab board Class 10 admit card secured till the announcement of results.

Students can check the Punjab Board 10th result on the official websites- pseb.ac.in. They will need to enter their roll number and other details as mentioned in the PSEB admit card to check their result.

Students need not worry about the accuracy of the PSEB 10th result released online. Punjab board Class 10 result is released after undergoing various checking processes thus, there are very low chances for the PSEB 10th result released online to be incorrect. Students are advised to collect the marklist from the school after the PSEB 10th result is announced.
