Yes, SBI POs can become managers after getting promoted. There are two ways:
1. Direct promotion after training: This is the first opportunity to become a manager for PO. They can take a cumulative promotion test to get promoted to the post of deputy manager (scale 2). This opportunity is offered after completion of training.
2. Service year based: This is a regular way and POs will get seniority-based promotions per year of service. The Probationary Officer can be promoted to the post of Chief General Manager. -
