Can someone elaborate on the admission process a little bit further?

There will be two JEE Main exam this year. First one was in January month and second one will be in the month of April. National Testing agency will release percentile score for both the exam. Better of them will be considered. According to this percentile score, NTA will release JEE Main rank for every students. Then, after counselling process will be started by Joint seat allocation authority(according to last year). Last year, there were 7 rounds and 2 special rounds in counselling process. After completing counselling process every student have to report their respective allocated college.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) MAIN will be conducted by the NTA from 2019 on wards.
JEE Main is applicable for admission to the allotted institute through Central Seat Allocation Board subject to the condition that the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
