Can someone explain the rule of avg of NATA score ? As it is possible to take the exam as many times we want to.

It is given in the scorecard "Valid score is average of previous valid score(if any) and score at this attempt.".So if I attempt the exam thrice will the score be the average of the first and second attempts divided by two or the scores of all the three attempts divided by three ?
