LPU NEST is the acronym for Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test. It is conducted in online mode every year for admission to more than 150 programs. The test acts as an Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test. The amount of scholarship is determined by the marks and rank obtained by candidates in the exam. In the NIRF Ranking, 2023 LPU appears in the Top 100 in its most crucial Overall Category, which includes IITs and Central Universities. LPU is also ranked 51st on the list of all the government and private universities in the country. Dear aspirant LPUNEST is a national-level entrance test conducted by LPU and is considered for determining Eligibility as well as offering scholarships for admission in various programmes. For some programmes it is mandatory to qualify LPU NEST for getting admission whereas for some the candidate can appear for LPU NEST in case he/she wants to avail certain scholarship. By qualifying LPU NEST you will fulfill one of the eligibility conditions required to take admission to LPU. But to avail scholarship your LPU NEST score must be more than the cutoff at that time. LPU NEST Cutoff is the minimum marks applicants need to attain for admission at LPU. The cutoff is dependent on the number of candidates, number of vacant seats, marks obtained by candidates in the entrance exam cut off of last year. The cutoff is divided into three categories and the shortlisted candidates receive the scholarship based on their marks/cut off category.
