More than 3,500 students are employed on the UW-Milwaukee campus, contributing their skills and enthusiasm to various campus departments and obtaining useful experience. At UWM, undergraduate and graduate students can work part-time jobs in fields, research labs, and offices.&nbsp;</p><p>Federal Work-Study offers degree-seeking students with financial need part-time employment. Under the Federal Work-Study, Federal Work-Study Community Service, or Federal Work-Study America Reads/America Counts programmes, students are hired as employees. Although a large number of students are eligible to take part in this programme, funding is scarce.
