No, admission to NIT Delhi for BTech is subject to a valid score in JEE Main followed by JoSAA Counselling. To get admission to NITs, students have to clear the JEE Main exam, meet eligibility requirements, and complete the counselling process. Moreover, candidates need to qualify for the JEE Main cutoff for NITs 2024 to be eligible for admission. Currently, there are 31 NITs in India.Additionally, to be eligible for BTech, students must have completed their Class 12 with 75% aggregate (for the General category). No, students cannot get direct admission at NIT Delhi. Admissions to NIT Delhi are based on JEE Main scores, and there is no provision for direct admission. To be eligible for admission, students need to qualify in the JEE Main exam and obtain a rank higher than the closing rank specified for each course and category. NIT Delhi follows a strict admission process where candidates must go through the JEE Main counseling to secure a seat. The institute reserves seats for NRI students under the DASA/CIWG quota, and admission criteria include scoring 60% and above in 10+2 in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics
