MAT scorecard is valid for a year, basis MBA admission cycle. MAT February and May session scores are valid for admission to that year only whereas, MAT September and MAT December scores can be used for admission in next year.

AIMA does not release any rank or percentile list of test takers, as MAT has multiple attempts and it is not an annual exam.

MAT is held in 4 phases - February, May, September and December. There are two exams per phase which means you can attempt MAT exam about 8 times in a year.

MAT score is accepted by nearly 800 MBA colleges in India. These include mainly Tier 2 private and government institutions.

It is estimated that about 20,000 candidates appear for MAT in every exam phase and about 80,000 appear for the exam annually. There are no confirmed data however.
