LPU NEST is a test conducted for eligibility and scholarship purpose. So for courses, where LPU NEST is not for eligibility purposes, for a scholarship it will serve the purpose. So, commerce students can give and qualify the cut off in order to get the scholarship benefits.

Hi Poonam, You can apply for scholarship if you take admission in any commerce based course. You just need to qualify their entrance exam. You can be awarded with scholarship if you have good score in your last qualified exam.

The only barrier between you and scholarships in LPU is your LPU-NEST scores. Though there is a scholarship for every sector students be it commerce, hospitality, technical, etc. LPU-NEST is an online admission test conducted by university itself every-year. Hi, LPU conducts national level exam LPU NEST that provides financial aid to all the candidates who want to join LPU to fulfill their dreams. LPU NEST exam serve the purpose of eligibility as well as of scholarship. In some courses, LPU NEST exam is mandatory and in some courses, it's candidates’ choice to appear for in order to avail maximum scholarship throughout the degree. For commerce stream Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) says Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. LPU NEST is not mandatory. So, to avail scholarship commerce stream student can also apply for it.

Dear Applicant, Yes, you can apply for LPU scholarship. LPU conducts its own test, i.e. LPU NEST (LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test). For some programmes like BA, BCA and B.Com this test act as a scholarship test. The scholarship on the basis of LPU NEST depends on the performance in exam. There are three brackets: LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category I cut-off-50% of programme fee LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category II cut-off-40% of programme fee LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category III cut-off-30% of programme fee
