Can students with a minimum cutoff for B.Tech get a seat at Charotar University of Science & Technology?

<p>The students who score below the cutoffs for that specific entry route typically do not get admitted. However, there is a chance that they will be admitted if they take a different path. For instance, if they apply for admission against seats that the institution needs to fill, even students with less than the cutoff may be admitted rather than going through the centralized admissions process known as ACPC. same might not occur in a government institution because, in Gujarat, all 100% of seats are filled through the acpc system, whereas only 50% of seats at private universities like Charotar University are filled through same means.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Hello Nishar Ahmed, cutoffs or normally announced by an institution so that there is no unnecessary crowding at the counselling stage and only probable candidates are called for counselling. It is also pertinent to know that this figure of cutoff keeps changing from year to year for different branches of engineering depending on the perception of students as to which branch is the current one. However the answer to your query would be that the students normally would not get admission who have less than cutoffs in that particular route of admission. But the possibility exists that they could get admission if they follow a different route like for example instead of getting admission via the centralised admission process called ACPC, &nbsp;if they go in for the admissions against seats which are to be filled up by the institution then even the students who have less than cut off can get admission. This may not happen in a government institution since all 100% seats in Gujarat are filled up via acpc whereas in private institutions like Charotar University, only 50% seats are filled up by this method.&nbsp;<br>Best wishes to you.</p>
