Can't I get a seat in government polytechnic in Maharashtra for lateral entry in Diploma as I am the 12th science student of Karnataka?

Admissions are made through CAP counselling on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2.
Eligibility:
Candidate must have completed 10+2 with science stream/ Vocational /Technical form a recognized board are eligible.
Candidate having 10th with 2 years ITI in a relevant specialization are eligible for the lateral entry. Regards.
