Hence, those who are aware of AI, robotics, and machine learning are said to have an edge over their colleagues since it is much in demand now.</p><p>Job scope may change, but it will not be significantly downsized. It is about keeping up with the trend and developing supplementary competencies that marry mechanical engineering with recent technologies.</p>
