Can there be any path for admission in Punjab University without JEE Mains in B.Tech?

Dear Mohit, Punjab University is a formidable player no doubt, but not the best, in private sector there are good number of institutions which have done far better. Without JEEMAINS, it would not be possible to get into PU, but you still have a chance to write LPU NEST and get into LPU ! LPU is one of the most sought after University in field of technical education. More so in case of B.Tech CSE, MBA and Agriculture courses. Since the question is about Computer Sciences Engineering, I shall give some details specific to it. Course curriculum: It is any day the mainstay or back bone of any programme. The extensive research, industry consultations, feedback from existing employers of LPU students, foreign collaborators and distinguished faculty all over the world goes into developing the curriculum of LPU, and all this: Upgraded in very semester. This makes the LPU syllabi most advanced and industry oriented in all respects. Trainings : A large number of trainings in cutting edge technologies like SAP and other MOOCs are given as a part of programme to enable the students learn what others learn after the courses. For example the SAP modules which cost upwards of INR one lac are a part of curriculum free of cost. School of Professional Enhancement: This is one department which kicks in from the first semester for holistic development of the students to create ethical, virtuous, hardcore professionals out of the students within their student life. Placements : LPU has a vast network of companies coming in to campus for placements every year. Just last year about 300 companies visited the campus only for CSE grads. Well yes, in LPU the eligibility criteria for B.Tech programme is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90% in 10+2, or 90 percentile in JEE Mains, then LPU NEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. LPU also serves the purpose of scholarship. LPU is a well renowned university, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. Hi, I would suggest you join LPU for B.Tech. The way they are making efforts is commendable. They provide huge scholarships to the students and the placements are outstanding. Recently, a girl got placed in Microsoft at the package of 42 LPA. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2. The last date of admission to avail maximum scholarship is 31st July 2020. Thanks.
