Can u please guide as i am planning to pursue my career in biotechnology?

Biotechnology is an emerging field. You will get to hear a lot from people that there are no jobs in this field. but this is only because people in India lack knowledge about the field of biotechnology. but the field is growing very fast with the Department Of Biotechnology, government of India spending a lot in research as well as industrial development. also, foreign companies are investing in the biotechnology sector in India. Once you get in touch with the right people who are actually involved in the field, then only you will realise the potential that this field holds. There are a lot of jobs in research as well as industrial sector. fields like immunology, molecular biology, genetics, enzyme technology, personalised medicine, stem cell therapy biomedical engineering, biosensors and bioprocess engineering hold immense opportunities for talented and qualified candidates. In the coming years, this field will only grow creating a lot more job opportunities.
