    Yes, you are eligible to take up mass communication in any recognized University, only if you have 55'/, marks in class 12th exam (any stream). Students who have cleared the board exam with English as one of the best of four subjects can apply for this course. After class 12th, one can take up BA in mass communication.

    In order to pursue mass communication course, you will have to first complete class 12th from any recognized board. You have to score at least 45%-50% marks in class 12th to be eligible for this course. All the best.

The CUET-PG 'Mass Communication and Journalism' paper (paper code - COQP17) is meant for all mass comm entrance (of the participating institutes) including IIMC entrance. CUET PG 2025 for Mass Communication and Journalism paper was conducted on March 29, 2025. Examinees had to take the test within 90 minutes. They were presented with 75 MCQs from topics like general awareness, awareness of current public issues, Indian History and social sciences, IT and its application, and mass media and society.

Yes, reserved category candidates get relaxation on the IIMC Entrance Exam application fee for PG Diploma courses. For most courses the application fee of CUET PG exam is applicable. While for PG Diploma courses in regional languages the application fee is decided by IIMC. OBC and EWS applicants have to pay INR 600. SC, ST and third gender candidates have to pay INR 550 while PwD candidates have to pay INR 500.
