Can we apply for TGT/PGT after integrated B.Ed-M.Ed? What is the eligibility for it?

Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. The B.Ed. M.Ed. Integrated is a new innovative programme of study to prepare teacher educators and for secondary and senior secondary school pedagogy. The programme is of three years duration with an exit option after two years with a B.Ed degree. Those who join the course with a Bachelors degree are eligible for TGT positions and those with Masters degree are eligible to become teacher educators/PGT positions. The programme integrates additional coursework leading to a specialisation other than teacher education in Pedagogic and Curriculum studies, ICT and New Media, or Policy and Research. (Note: The programme has received recognition from the NCTE WRC under the innovative Category) The programme is designed to prepare professional teachers and teacher educators to work as adaptive experts and transformative intellectuals. The programme is in response to the need for quality teacher education which can develop educators with a strong motivation and commitment to working in the sector as well as deep professional knowledge that empowers them to understand the curriculum and social context.
