It is a post graduate diploma this means a prospective student has to be graduate in any field of studies to become eligible for this course. Now if you are an engineering graduate you also become eligible for this course, however if you have only a diploma in Engineering then you are not eligible. In this case you need to obtain a graduation degree from any recognised university before you become eligible.

The course that you are talking is called as PG diploma course which means it is a post graduate diploma this means a prospective student has to be a graduate in any field of studies to become eligible for this course. Now if you are an engineering graduate you also become eligible for this course, however if you have only a diploma in engineering then you are not eligible. No, FTII only offers admission to PG diploma, MFA degrees and Certificate courses through FTII JET entrance exam. According to previous year's prospectus released by FTII, the FTII JET entrance exam is conducted in 26 cities. The names of exam cities are shared by the institute in its admission prospectus. But, students must note that this number may or may not change for every admissio cycle.

- Given to acting topper; INR 24,000 / year

No, FTII does not offer undergraduate degree courses. They only offer postgraduate Diploma and certificate courses under their film wing and television wing. However, they do have one Undergraduate Certificate course in Animation & Visual Effects Design.
