can we do both dba and testing? Is there any benefit by doing this?

Hi, Oracle DBA and Software Testing both are two different things. My understanding is that you need to know which of the two is better for a good career. Again as for my experience Software testing is good, if you are working with testing tools. For a DBA it is a never ending learning experience
