    YES.If you are having55% in PG you are elgible.You must appear for enterence for P.hD.

    Most of the institutes admit students who have done a masters degree with 55% and more for Ph.D programmes

    First try to find if your M.Phil can be converted into PhD. This is possible under some circumstances. Otherwise it would be better to complete M.Phil before enrolling for PhD.
