YES you can, provided the University is ICAR Accredited. For example, LPU is ICAR accredited and was the first one to be done so by ICAR !
Let me explain why the LPU is best option:
    1. School of Agriculture, LPU is Accredited with ICAR. No private University has the ICAR Accreditation, so LPU become the first to get the ICAR accreditation.
    2. LPU offers the B.Sc. Agriculture with hons. Degree is much more standardized and superior than the general degree. So this is also one of the factor to be considered.
    3. Moreover, LPU has well-equipped labs, lecture halls, excellent agriculture farms to conduct the agriculture experiments.
    4. LPU pr

    Hello,

Undoubtedly, provided the private university is approved by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and the University Grants Commission (UGC), a degree in agriculture from a private university can still lead to employment chances in the public sector. While a degree from an ICAR-accredited university may be preferred or required for some government employment in agriculture especially, there are other government jobs that do not have this particular criterion. Individuals holding an agriculture degree recognised by the UGC may be qualified for work in government departments pertaining to agriculture in the areas

Yes, you can get a job in the government sector after getting an agriculture degree from a private institution, provided that the institution is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Many government jobs in agriculture require a degree from an ICAR-accredited institution, but there are also a number of jobs that do not require this accreditation.

Certainly, a degree in agriculture from a private university can indeed open up employment opportunities in the public sector, provided the university is approved by both the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and the University Grants Commission (UGC). While having a degree from an ICAR-accredited university may be favored or even required for certain government roles in agriculture, there are other government positions that do not specifically mandate this criterion.

Individuals possessing an agriculture degree recognised by the UGC may be eligible for employment in government departments related to agriculture, encompassi

Yes, but your university/college should be accredited by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Chandigarh University is a NAAC A+ university and also has a B.Sc. Agriculture course that is accredited by ICAR.
