Can we get job in government sector after getting agriculture degree from a private institution?

Definitely you will get government. Job. I am pass out from Lovely Professional University and During my post graduation years I had few friends from agriculture department, Sometimes I used to visit fields, Labs with them they also discussed about placements, academic, placements etc. So I have Idea about this course. The university has well-equipped laboratories, library, lecture rooms, and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments. Emphasis on case studies and inter-personal based teaching to develop skills in analytical thinking and reflective judgment by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios. B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture students done research on Project On Floating Island-The project involves the introduction of floating islands for water management and improving sanitation and regulation of water quality &amp;amp; restoration of the water table with the help of biological agents. Hi, B.Sc. Agriculture is a 4-year undergraduate professional course offered by various government and private universities in India. The demand for graduates with a degree in agriculture is increasing every day in India and abroad. Course fees are also considerably lower than other professional degrees while rewarding good jobs and a better package. B.Sc. Agriculture graduates have ample job opportunities in the government as well as the private sector. They can be hired as Agriculture Development Officers (ADO) and Block Development Officers (BDO). Employment opportunities are available as: Agriculture Research Scientist Extension Officer Field Officer Agriculture Officer Farm Manager Plantation Manager Research Officer Agriculture Loan Officer in Banks Production Manager One suggestion I would like to give you if you want to pursue B.Sc. Agriculture is that make sure the college/ University has ICAR ( Indian Council of Agricultural Research ) accreditation in which you want admission. Lovely professional university is the first private university to get accreditation from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). LPU provides the quality education by the well qualified teachers. LPU has become a brand across the globe. It has various national and international tie-ups. LPU provides a proper atmosphere or environment for agriculture students. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. Hi Sakshi, Being an education consultant I can tell you efficiently that Bachelor's degree in agriculture is a big demanding degree now a days even in the government sector. I know about one of the premier institution in India which is situated in Jalandhar, Punjab "lovely professional University" this is India's first private University to get the ICAR accreditation. I am a resident of Jalandhar city so I know enough of LPU. It is a lush green campus in more than 600 acres of land. If I am not wrong they have allocated approximately 20 to 30 acres of land to the students of school of agriculture just for the research purpose. I have heard that online admissions are still going on and one can proceed through their website or can call at toll free number of the university. Their Academic Executives will help you more than your imagination. All the Best for your future.

Yes you can get Jobs in Government sectors after completing the B.Sc. Hons. In Agriculture from private Universities approved by UGC. The LPU is a state private UGC approved University and accredited by ICAR for its B.Sc. Hons. In Agriculture. Hence its Agriculture degree is valid for all kind of government. Jobs like UPSC Banking, State Public service commission etc.
