can we get proper jobs in new zealand with a post graduate diploma in business management???please help...

i am a btech final year student...who wants to study mba in new zealand...but i was advised to do the post greaduate diploma course first and then continue with mba...can i do that??and will i be able to find a proper job with that qualification in new zealand itself...please help...
