In Navy also, there are different positions, as in Army. For, BTech also, attractive jobs are found, with good salaries.

Definitely you can join merchant navy. There are many positions for graduates.

Merchant Navy ships sail for longer months. Hence all sort of engineers are there in decks. i.e chief engineer,1st engineer,2nd engineer etc. They may be mech. elec. ece or any other.So all types of engineers are required. For officer rank Nautical engineers n marine engineers are preferred.
