Hi Santhosh,
You can take the Civil Service Examination in your mother tongue. If Tamil is your mother tongue you can give the exam in Tamil. For more information please check the link below:

Hi Santhosh.
We cannot write the civil service exam in tamil language.
It is mandatory we should know english or hindi

no, you can face in official language, but in description only attempt is made
