The CUET exam is the basis for admission to several UG and PG programs at AKTU; the only entrance exam that AKTU accepts for admission to B.Tech programs is JEE Main. For B.Tech admission, the UPCET test was replaced by JEE Mains. Yes, AKTU admission to BTech course is done through JEE Main. The university accepts JEE Main score of the candidates followed by UPTAC Counselling. In 2022, the JEE Main closing rank for AKTU CSE course was 44,084 indicating easy selection process in some of the AKTU affiliated colleges. The highest closing rank was for Biotechnology-21,856. The closing rank indicates the level of selection process. AKTU affiliated colleges are available for all types of students. Candidates scoring not so good in JEE Main can also find a place in one of the AKTU affiliated college.
