Can we take long term preparation for cat exam for 1 year without going to any job after degree? Does it become a problem during admit?

I'm completing my b.tech in civil in 2015.i attempted for cat 2014 without any preparation i got only 60 percentile,i wanna take long term coaching without going to any job for 1 year (so i could concentrate only on cat) do they give admissions into iim's or top colleges if i get good percentiles

    Job experience is not mandatory for MBA Admission even in IIMs. Therefore prepare well for CAT & stay focussed.

    Yes it is a good idea Manikanta to focus on preparation for an year. But then are you confiedent to do the exam so well which can bring you higher in merit. For top MBA institues you require very high percentile. If you can make up you mind then you can do it. Before that I suggest you judge yourself and your priorities correctly. And also be prepared to study in a leeseer reputed instititue if unfortunately you do not get nto IIM's or institutes of similar repute.
