Can we teach in CBSE board schools after doing NPTT?

Asked about Adhyapika – Teacher Training Programme - Diploma in Nursery and Primary Teacher's Training (NPTT)

I am a trained teacher of junior section with 23 years of teaching experience but I have not done B.Ed.

  • After gaining so much experience, I think you can teach. But, as per the new government eligibility for teacher is that a teacher must have a degree of B.Ed. So, it depends on school to school that they take you as a teacher or not. But, you can teach primary classes. I suggest that you should pursue B.Ed, because it is must for teacher.
