    No, you cannot apply for the UPSC CMS exam during the fourth year of MBBS. The MBBS is a 5.5-year programme that includes a six-month internship. According to UPSC eligibility criteria, you can take the CMS exam after completing your MBBS degree course or in the final year of your MBBS degree course. If you are in your final year, you must present your course completion Certificate. This Certificate needs to be submitted before the last date for the submission of the detailed application form (DAF). In addition, you must present the Certificate of completion of your internship in order to obtain a recommendation letter from the UPSC fo

    Hi Deepika! 4th year student may not be able to appear in UPSE CMC because eligibility criteria for UPSE CMC says that the candidates, who have passed MBBS or written the final year exam or final year student in graduation degree can appear in the examination.
    Age limit -Candidates below 32 years of age can apply for this examination. However, for the Junior Scale post, the upper age limit must not exceed 35 years of age.
