Can you explain the further ratings required for getting an airlines job after completing CPL?

    Nowadays, some airlines have started asking for type rated Candidates on their fleet and certified by DGCA. And on the other hand some others have collaborated with major TRTO's like CAE to train CPL Candidates.
    For Type 1 airlines you are required to complete a self sponsored training on any aircraft that is a part of such airline's fleet.
    For Type 2 airlines, they hire CPL Candidates and then they are trained by their collaborated TRTO as per the airline's requirements.
    You are then to probably fund or self-sponsor your type rating on whatever fleet you are selected in an airline.
    Then, you finally get a job as a pilot.
