For the preparation of Upsc.go back and get your CBSE curriculum syllabus from 8th to 12th.
Make a habit of reading national daily.
From those national daliy cut and paste important topics and news this ill be your notes.
Buy good standard magazines like pratiyogita darpan india today etc.

There are many good books for UPSC preparation. also if you have any good coaching centre in your area, then join it. But it is mostly your effort which makes the difference. read a lot of current affairs and gk.
