    Amongst all IITs, IIT Kharagpur is the oldest IIT in India, which was set up in 1951 followed by IIT Kanpur and IIT Madras in 1959. IITKGP offers a four-year BTech programme across 15 specialisations, along with a five-year Integrated M.Tech programme across 15 specialisations.
