Can you help with the TET exam?

• TET means Teacher Eligibility Test.

• It is needed to become a government school teacher.

• There are two papers:

  • Paper 1 – For teaching Class 1 to 5

  • Paper 2 – For teaching Class 6 to 8

• You must pass or be in final year of D.El.Ed or B.Ed

• You must pass 12th or graduation with 45–50% marks

• Age and rules depend

TS TET:

- Mode: Online CBT

- Duration: 2.5 hours

- 2 papers: Primary & Upper Primary

- Qualifying marks vary by category

Paper 1: Primary teachers

Paper 2: Upper primary teachers

Key dates:

- Application: Apr 15-30, 2025

- Exam: Jun 18-30, 2025

- Result: Jul 22, 2025

Eligibility:

- Paper 1: Class 12 + Diplom
