Can you please give me some information about Jadavpur University, Kolkata?

Jadavpur University is a public state university situated in Kolkata, India. This university offers courses like arts, science, engineering and technology. This university has two campuses, one in Jadavpur which is the old campus and the other is in Salt Lake which is the new campus. Departments:- In the old campus, you have the arts department and engineering departments like computer science, electrical, electronics, mechanical, civil, production, pharmacy and few more. In the salt Lake campus, you have information technology, construction engineering, printing engineering and few more. Affiliated institutes: In addition to being a unitary university, it is affiliated to other institutes like the Jawahari Devi Birla Institute of Commerce and Management, Jadavpur Vidyapith and the Institute of Business Management, Jadavpur University. Campus recruitment: For computer science and IT students, companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Samsung, Goldman Sachs, PWC, Salesforce, SAP Labs and many more visit and offer an average package of 12 LPA. For mechanical engineering, companies like TCS, PWC, Siemens, Wipro, Ashok Leyland visit the campus. For electrical engineering, companies like PWC, Wipro, General Electric (GE) and CESC come here. In short, this is a great university where any student can get placement in a good company.
