Can you please help? I have not performed well in my accounts board exam, what should I do?

I am in class 12th (CBSE board). The accounts paper of this year was pretty simple and I could score full marks in it but while I was giving my exam, I got confused and skipped the entire exam and attempted just a 1-mark question.

    Hi,
It's completely normal to panic during exams, and there's barely anything you can do when you're zoning out unintentionally. Although it might feel disappointing when the results come out, make sure that you're not too hard on yourself. It is just an exam and you'll do better next time. Even if you've not done well for your boards, you can always write the supplementary tests after the publishing of the results. Make sure you give it your best try the next time that is all that counts.

    Hi,
Don't spend your time worrying about things of that past that cannot be changed. It is the time to study hard and practice, as much as you can, so that the same mistake will not happen again.

Do practice again. And, give next attempt. But, prepared for that attempt very hard. All the best.

Study hard. For me also, accounts was tough but at last I studied smartly, so I got 56 marks out of 100.

What do you mean by not performed well? If it means that not as well as you had expected or you have chances to fail in accounts. If your not well performance is that in comparison with other subjects you are not going to score good marks in this particular subject, so don't be afraid if you score well in your other four subjects because ultimately, while computing % for cutoff marks, you need your top four subjects marks. But personally speaking, don't panic and wait for your results to come because sometimes, result can be opposite of what you think. All the best for your result.

Start estimating the marks that you could get and if it's less than 50, then just wait for the results and don't worry because even if you fail, you can clear it from supplementary examinations and there won't be much problem with that.

Yes, as an Indian student, if someone has completed their class 12th education from CBSE, they can apply for the Westford University College. For UG programs available at this university, the application has to be submitted with the English language proficiency as well.

Generally, no. If you have scored above 75-80% in English in your Class 12th boards (CBSE/ISC), Public Universities in Singapore usually waive the English proficiency requirement. However, for a Master's degree, it is often required unless your undergraduate degree was taught entirely in English.

Yes, as an Indian student, if you have scored above 80% then you can submit these scores. Given that these scores are awarded by any of these bodies - CBSE, AISSCE, CUSCE or ISC

The students won't even have to take IELTS or TOEFL for UCD if the given English language requirements are met.

Yes, NUCAT syllabus is similar to high school Class 12 curriculum of CBSE, ISC, and various state boards. Topics covered in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry are generally based on topics taught in Indian schools. Students who have studied under CBSE, ISC, or state boards will find familiar topics in NUCAT exam. There will be difference in type of questions asked in NUCAT 2026. It's always recommended to check official syllabus provided by the institution, as some topics have a slightly different focus or emphasis based on course or programme requirements.
