    Reduced by almost 30% is the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for 2023–2024.     The CBSE Social Science exam for Class 10 is 80 marks (external exam) with internal assessment (20 marks). It uses a mix of MCQs, short/long answer, and map-based questions.
