AME professionals are tasked with the maintenance of an aircraft, its parts and engines. As the name suggests, AME professionals have to deal with service and maintenance of aircraft and make sure that they are flightworthy. It is a technical training course (3 years long) that will help you acquire an aircraft maintenance engineer license (issued by the DGCA). The minimum eligibility criterion for getting admission into any one of the institutes is 10+2 or equivalent with 50% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics.
