LPU's School of Agriculture has ICAR approval. Students who have passed out from LPU have got jobs in various departments and states. Yes, Being a Alumni of Lovely Professional University, I can say that LPU is best private University to purse B.Sc. (Hons)Agriculture. If you are looking for quality education and good placements along with learned faculty work hard on you to get you placed in the best of the companies, then LPU is the place for you to go for. LPUs school of Agriculture has ICAR approval. Students who have passed out from LPU have got jobs in various departments and states. LPU is the only private university that has ICAR approval. LPU students got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of the School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more. The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters, how much he is worth or deserved. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 1 crore LPA, while many failed to do so. On average, the Agriculture students of LPU are offered and placed in the starting package of 5.5 TO 6 LPA (Fixed salary) while there may be cases of students getting less than that or more than that. As I said, LPU will provide you the platform and the opportunity, but it is really you who have to go and perform on the platform being provided.

I have spent 4 years in lpu for my studies and I have seen that the agriculture department is one of the finest departments. Well-equipped and well grown from the last couple of years. Moreover, LPU is the first private university got ICAR approval. LPU holds a stellar record in placements as big brands like VLCC Healthcare Ltd. , Ankur Seeds, HDFC, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. , Ebro India Pvt. Ltd. , etc. Have visited for campus recruitment at packages upto 4.5 LPA. In addition to this, students can attain positions as Agriculture Inspectors, Agriculture Officers, POs, Food Quality Inspectors, Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Technical Assistants and administrative posts in government and non-government organizations. Over and above, I also came to know that recently, LPU has been ranked in top 80 amongst all private and government institutes by NIRF, MHRD, GOI which shows the quality being delivered at the institute.
