can you please tell me the details regarding ifs officers salary?help me

i am only child of my parents and concerned with pay and time factor both,i am aware of the fact that they do get good foreign allowances when posted in abroad,but what is the pay when they are posted at headquarters in newdelhi. it will take 4years 6months to be an ifs,it will be worth it or not?
