Though there are many number of entrance exams, there are a few which are more important due to the reputation of the institutes.
They are:
1)JEE main and advanced - NITs and IITs
2)BITSAT-BITS Pilani
3)VITEEE - VIT University
4)AEEE - Amrita University
5)SRMJEEE - SRM University
