Can you provide all the relevant details about UCEED?

UCEED is basically a design entrance exam and also known as 'Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design', to get admission into Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in IITs as well as other private institutes offering design. UCEED will be conducted by Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, under the guidance of the UCEED-CEED Implementation Committee. UCEED is open to all nationals (Indian/Foreign). Candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor's degree programme in Design (B.Des) at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), (IITG), (IITH), and Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur (IIITDMJ) must appear in UCEED. Eligibility criteria: 1. Age limit: The candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1994 if belonging to the OPEN or OBC-NCL category and on or after October 1, 1989 if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category, if he/she wants to appear in the year 2019. 2. Number of attempts: A candidate can attempt UCEED for a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years. Note that UCEED score is valid for one year, and only for admissions in the corresponding academic year. 3. Qualifying examination: The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2018, or appearing in 2019. Students from ALL STREAMS (Science, Commerce, and Arts &amp; Humanities) are eligible. Registration for UCEED: Candidates can register them by visiting the <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="www.uceed.iitb.ac.in" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>www.uceed.iitb.ac.in</a> in the first week of October every year. Further, the exam will be held in the month of January.
