PGDM-RM is a specialized program, if you want to build up your career in retail industry, FMCG and overall in marketing domain, then retail management, has its edge. But if you are open to any industry and to be precise any domain- HR/finance/ marketing then PGDM is a better option. -

See, which is better actually depends on your area of interest and if you have a tilted interest towards retail sector then why not to excel in it by opting it as your specialisation and if you are not that clear that which specialisation to take then go for PGDM as it will give the insights of each area whether it is HR, retail, marketing, finance, IB or any other and then choose your preferred specialisation.
