    Let me share the brief information about UGC NET Exam here. The UGC NET is a national level exam which is held by National Testing Agency twice a year. This exam allows you to be an assistant professor in the universities, for junior research fellowship and to pursue Ph.D or higher studies. The eligibility criteria to apply for the exam is as follows:
    The candidates must be below 30 years of age for the NET JRF while there is no age limit criteria for the NET lectureship.

    Hello Kailash, UGC NET it is an entrance exam which is organized for those who want to get positions of Lecturers/professors/ associates/ research fellows at India's reputed universities. The UGC NET exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency NTA from December 2018, earlier it was organized by the CBSE. Candidates should have Masters degree to appear for the UGC NET exam with minimum 55% aggregate marks if they belong to General category or minimum 50% aggregate marks if they are from OBC/SC/ST/PwD category. The NTA released the UGC NETadmit card 2025 for the December session exam. It was released on the official portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The admit card is a mandatory document thata needs to be carried at the examination centre by the candidate.

The UGC NET December session exam was over on January 7. As per the students' feedback UGC NET January 2 Paper 1 was Moderate some felt that Assertion & Reasoning part was a bit difficult. Paper 1 was lengthy.
