    The International Air Transport Association (IATA), with its Headquarters in Montreal – Canada is the trade association for the world's airlines. It is representing some 250 airlines or 84% of total air traffic. IATA supports many areas of aviation activity and formulates industry policies and guidelines on critical aviation issues, which are implemented worldwide.
