    Hi Admit, At the beginning of the counselling procedure, you will have to fill a list of branches in the order of preference. In round, you will be given a seat in the first vacant branch (according to your CET rank) starting from the top. Now, you can either freeze the selection or wait for round 2. As the admission process moves forward some students from higher branches may leave their seat. This is where internal sliding comes in. If there are enough vacant seats in the branch above your alloted branch, you will be alloted that branch. This goes on till round 3.
